Go to Solution. Solved by mcgyvr. Or is it that there is only the "professional" version and LT now, but no "standard" version? In any case, I think you are correct, in that there is only one full version and then LT, but someone can correct me if I'm wrong.
There seems to be NO way to just get "Inventor Professional" anymore It seems to be Inventor and LT.. There are still some "references" to Pro on the Autodesk site but I think they are all just mistakes Now mine says "Inventor Professional " but I suspect thats because I'm still a legacy "maintenance subscription" customer and installed the PDSU suite which I know I can't get anymore either Let me set the record straight..
However as of last year sometime, you could no longer subscribe to Inventor standard. In addition its around to support those suites that have Inventor standard as part of that suite level.
Now most likely its not longer termed Inventor Professional but its still consider Inventor Professional. Remember years ago when there was like 3 or 4 levels of Inventor.. One thing that you have to watch out is when you install Inventor for and not talking about suites.. Mark Lancaster. Did this resolve your issue? They weren't happy when I told them they had to uninstall and reinstall the Professional one. I remember back when the Product keys thanks Mark dictated what version installed So next year when our maintenance contract runs out all I need is an "Inventor" subscription I got a phone call from ADSK about my posting asking about this.. But I still think its "Inventor sometimes called pro and sometimes not on the autodesk site " and "LT" On some Autodesk pages its referred to as "Inventor" and on others its "Inventor Professional" I swear There must be a thousand "name change just for sake of changing the name" timers at Autodesk..
